Business aviation industry sets plan to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Airlines and airports have already set plans to address climate change, with the industry pledging to reduce its emission levels by half from 2005 levels.

About three per cent of all global emissions are attributed to the aviation industry. An increase in private travel has increased the pressure on the business aviation industry to reduce its emissions.
